Hi I'm Kate!
Currently I'm located in Buffalo, NY where I am a graphic designer for the environmental engineering firm Hazen and Sawyer. I graduated from Ball State University (chirp! chirp!), a Midwest liberal arts college, where I majored in Journalism Graphics and a minored in Digital Media.
I have a type A personality, so I live for organization, to-do lists and schedules. Clean, minimalist design consistently draws me in, but I always look for ways to add that special mix of interesting. You can't go wrong with neutral colors (navy is my favorite), but I believe a pop of color, some pattern, or an unexpected font will take anything to the next level.
After the 9-5 work hours, I love to pick up some freelance work. Most of those projects deal with print design and brand identity. I am on the lookout for projects that challenge my abilities and allow me to develop new skills.
